Lee Hopkins has created a circle of good will to support her partner, Audrey Luthringer. The circle developed after Lee phoned Lisa Vogel, co-founder of the Michigan Womyns Music Festival, with news of Audreys dire condition. Many of the festivals 5,000 attendees know Audrey because she has annually worked on the transportation team, shuttling women from the airport to the campsite 100 miles north of Grand Rapids. Thats how she met Lee. Vogel sent e-mails around the world about Audreys struggle, and responses flooded Lees e-mail account. Theyre still arriving, along with cards and letters.
